This cafe originated in the Pizza shop a few doors up, but has recently moved to the old flower shop where it can really take flight as a fantastic new coffee shop. It has been newly renovated and although the kitchen is small, the food is of a very high quality. The sweet cakes are made by a french pastry chef and are too good to be true (particularly for this area).
The real star of this place is the coffee (Piazza Doro's Sustainable blend). The owner really knows his stuff, and is absolutely passionate and meticulous. I doubt you will find a better coffee between Frankston and the city.
If you live anywhere near, stop in for a visit. You won't be disappointed and you can be sure to get a consistently AMAZING coffee every time.
This new cafe has been stylishly refurbished & is working towards becoming a real favourite with locals. The owners really care about their coffee, with the focus on great coffee more so than food. However they do source sweet treats & yummy croissants from french bakery 'Noisette' in Port Melbourne. The thing I like best about The Coffee Kiss is their commitment to being ethical. They source their produce locally where possible and their coffee is sustainable. And isn't that what we all want? Our coffee habits to remain sustainable. They tell me that they are likely to have Fairtrade Organic coffee in their cups in the very near future. I think we should be watching this space to see how this lovely coffee shop evolves.
I recently visited this cafe. It looked ok from the front and there wasn't a great variety of choice in Carrum. The coffee was bitter and tasted burned. The choice of food was limited and the owner didn't take my name correctly. Overall it was a amateur experience. Keep driving!
