Not too bad

Coffee average, food not too bad
San Sebastian has an enviable position right near Hampton train station - ample space for footpath tables and cyclist's bikes. Not to mention the morning commuters. Anyway, I popped in and was not expecting much to be honest. The breakfast menu is pretty good actually and came out quickly. My scrambled eggs were some of the best tasting scrambled eggs I have had. Mushrooms needed more oil, but were good. The avocado I got was EXCELLENT and I got a full half. Their home made hash brown was very good (Kate was shocked at the deliciousness). What amuses me though is when I ask for scrambled eggs and a hashbrown (or some simple variant) - somewhere between my mouth and the chef's hand, this ends up as something else. In this case extra pesto mushrooms. The coffee was passable (there are better options around). I didn't try an espresso, but the soy latte was of course lessened by the use of I think Vitasoy. So, if you want what I would rate a very decent feed, and some passable coffee, check it out. 6/10 from me. Brekky was a 7.5, coffee 5.
Really good, worth a look

Changed name and fitout
The cafe formerly known as San Sebastian, is now Sebastian's Food and Wine (not sure if the same owners) now has a new fitout, menu and name.
Coffee is ok, food looks good.
I had a muffin (blueberry choc I think) which was just ok.
The rest of the menu looks good.
If you are after really good coffee, and can be bothered, head up New St to Little Ox, or, to Bay St Brighton to Tucci Brown.
