Not too bad

So, the cakes and food here look and sound awesome.
I had a ristretto which was ok, the latte was strong - it wasn't amazing but was acceptable.
I had a smoked pork belly baguette. What I really got was a really fatty piece of bacon. Very disappointing (partly my own fault, I ought to have just had a cake or something lighter). Smoked pork belly obviously means different things to different people.
Kate wanted the gypsy ham toastie without mustard. We were told they basically couldn't do it. "Can't or won't" I asked. "Won't". Fair enough, I suppose. Even though, if it were me, I'd go to the trouble to please a customer. It was a little galling though as they do make food on the spot, like our eating companion's melted cheese toastie with egg on top...I can't see how quickly doing a ham/cheese toastie would have thrown the kitchen into disarray.
Plenty of other choices around like Le Chien, Common Galaxia and Duchess.
