Not too bad

Well, after a very disappointing trip (coffee-wise) to the South Coast of NSW, hopes were dashed, and I only really wanted a vegie pie from the Bruthen Bakery. Poor Kate was starving as she hadn't eaten in Eden, and there isn't a hell of a lot in terms of quality bakeries between Eden and Sale, Bairnsdale and Traralgon.
However, we were about to be shocked.
Jasper beans. A warm, inviting interior, replete with the delicious bakery smells we all love. I snapped up a cauliflower, leek and cheese pie (which was extraordinarily good). Soy was Coles (supermarket) branded soy.
I have to say, the coffee was pretty bloody good for a busy, small-town bakery. Fresh, strong, milk was done just right and not too hot.
7/10 for me.

Manners are missing. Behind the counter somewhere!!
After hearing reviews of what a great place to stop for a coffee and cake between Melbourne and the South Coast of NSW, we decided to take a break and have lunch from this establishment.
The venue was not packed out at the time,(11-30) but the attitude of the girl (she was NO LADY!!) was disappointing to the maximum.
It it not very nice to rush us and try to get us out of your shop.
So many choices, and decisions can be made.
